2024 Tier 1 Girls Summer Showcase Travel Information
ARRIVALS (FLIGHTS ONLY):
Please schedule your flights to arrive on MONDAY, July 22nd anytime between 12:00 PM & 5:00pm PM Eastern (best window).
IF you are planning on flying in a day early, please note that you will be responsible for your transportation and lodging until check-in on Monday, July 22nd.
IF you are flying in either BEFORE or AFTER the timeframe above, please let us know as we do have ice scheduled for 7pm eastern that night for the girls and we may not have coaches available to do airport pickups. You may have to arrange airport pickup/drop off that night based on the time of your arrival. Thank you!
Our coaching staff will be picking up student-athletes ONLY from BOSTON LOGAN AIRPORT
Our Coaching staff will be picking student-athletes up in waves on Monday, July 22nd. Please understand that your daughter may have to wait after she has touched down and picked up her luggage.
Communication is key in this process and we as a staff want to ensure that everyone is accounted for.
We will be creating a group chat with everyone as we get closer to the arrival date (WhatsApp) so please be sure that the student-athlete has the app downloaded to their phone before July 1st.
Please note, rooms may not be available until later in the day (between 4pm/5pm eastern).
Please keep the staff informed of any changes to your arrival time on Monday, July 22nd.
Please keep your phone on at all times and when you have the opportunity to do so, please charge your phones as that will be our direct line of communication. We will post the pick-up waves in the WhatsApp group chat in advance.
ARRIVALS (DRIVING):
Please plan to arrive at Breakaway Ice Center (20 Carter Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876) between the hours of 4pm - 6pm eastern on Monday, July 22nd.
We will have members of our staff at Breakaway to check student-athletes in beginning at 4:00 PM ET (no earlier).
After check-in the girls will be able to head to the locker room where the gear will be stored for the two weeks and find their stall with their name on it and their jersey and socks.
Student-athletes that are driving themselves, once you arrive, you will give your keys to one of the coaches on staff as we will be providing all of the transportation for the time you are here. No one will be allowed to take their cars anywhere off campus during the duration of the event.
DEPARTURES (FLIGHTS ONLY):
Please schedule your flights to depart on Sunday, August 4th between the hours of 3:00 PM - 7:00pm eastern time (best window).
Our coaching staff will be collecting and reviewing the departure information on Saturday, August 3rd in the evening.
Our coaching staff will be providing transportation to Logan Airport for drop-off. Please be aware that we will be doing drop-offs by time of flight so your daughter will be dropped off in plenty of time to check in and get situated at her gate before takeoff.
DEPARTURES (DRIVING ONLY):
Parents picking up their daughters are welcome to do so at Sonesta OR Breakaway Ice Center (20 Carter St, Tewksbury, MA) on Sunday, August 4th by 11:30 AM. We will communicate with those student-athletes directly.
For those that are driving themselves, they will be given their keys after the last session which ends at 11:10am.

Please note that the Sonesta will provide towels and bedding during the event so you will not need to bring your own sheets or towels.
Please also note that there are OPTIONAL items on the list that are not mandatory to bring with you.
Please note that we will also be providing your daughter with a jersey and socks that she will have for the duration of the event that we will collect at the end of the session.
EXPECTATIONS IN DORMITORY:
Upon check-in, each student-athlete/family will have to fill out a damage waiver that you will have to sign. This is a precautionary measure in case there is any damage to the rooms, but we do not anticipate any damage being done during the camp.
There will be kitchen, bathroom and bedroom amenities (i.e. toilet paper, bedding, pillows, towels, basic kitchen appliances, limited amount of plates, pots and pans, and silverware).
Student-athletes will not pick a bed until all roommates have arrived, once everyone is present the student-athletes will discuss who will get each sleeping arrangement and how they wish to rotate sleeping arrangements.
Every student-athlete will have their own bed during the duration of the camp weeks.
Respect for your living quarters and taking care of your bodies
Our staff recognizes and respects the fact that for some of you this will be your first living experience away from home.
It is imperative that we practice good hygiene habits and are taking care of our living quarters.
Please respect the Sonesta living quarters and the staff.
